The International Journal of Surgical Studies (IJSS) is a double-blinded peer-reviewed, Open Access, a multidisciplinary international journal addressing various aspects of surgical research, education and clinical practice. The contents of the journal cover various fields of general surgery including: liver, gallbladder, pancreas, portal hypertension and spleen surgery, gastrointestinal tract, laparoscopy, vascular, infection and acute and intensive surgery, abdominal wall hernia, breast, thyroid and endocrine surgery, transplant surgery, surgical nutrition, experimental surgery, local anatomy and surgery, etc.

The journal has a practical focus and publishes articles by leading experts covering topical issues of surgery, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of diseases, surgical algorithms and methods of treatment of various diseases. Importance of Qualitative Research in Surgery

Surgery is the branch of health science that treats diseases, injuries, and deformities by manual or operative methods. Research is the keystone on the advancement of medicine and surgery.

The International Journal of Surgical Studies (IJSS) aims to provide a platform for the exchange of information about all areas of surgery and to promote the discipline of surgical care and good health throughout the world.

Peer-review is the system used to assess the quality of a manuscript before it is published. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of the International Journal of Surgical Studies (IJSS) or outside experts, at least two to three independent reviewer’s approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript. After publishing, articles are freely available online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide.
