About the Journal

The International Journal of Nephrology and Kidney Diseases (IJNKD) is a double-blinded peer-reviewed, Open Access, a multidisciplinary international journal addressing various aspects of Nephrology and Urology. Nephrology is the study concerned with the kidneys. Nephrology and Urology both deal with the study of functions, diseases, disorders, diagnosis, the treatment of kidney and urinary system, etc.

The contents of the journal cover various fields of Nephrology: Epidemiology, Physiology, cell biology, screening, diagnosis, treatment interventions, biochemistry, pathology, immunology, morphology and new technological developments.

The journal has a practical focus and publishes articles by leading experts covering topical issues of the spectrum of acute and chronic kidney complications, urinary tract infections encountered in clinical practice, quality, and patient safety within the scope of the journal. The journal publishes original research, reviews, clinical observations, clinical case studies, short reports, etc.

IJNKD employs a rigorous peer-review and editing process to assess manuscripts for integrity, importance, novelty, and scientific accuracy.

Aim and Scope of the Journal

International Journal of Nephrology and Kidney Diseases (IJNKD) is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, clinical case studies, and editorial updates in all areas of Nephrology and Urology.

Nephrologists, Urologists, Renal researchers, health care practitioners and Radiologists for the dissemination of new knowledge and information about the latest research inventions relevant to kidney complications, nephrotoxicity, infections and renal failure.

Importance of Qualitative Research in Nephrology and Kidney Diseases

Clinical research studies to find new ways to detect, prevent or treat health conditions, and to make sure new treatments work well and are safe for people and helping advance knowledge about chronic kidney disease, treatment and patient outcomes.

The International Journal of Nephrology and Kidney Diseases (IJNKD) aims to provide a platform for the exchange of information about all areas of nephrology and urology and to promote good health throughout the world.

Peer-review is the system used to assess the quality of a manuscript before it is published. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of the International Journal of Nephrology and Kidney Diseases (IJNKD) or outside experts, at least two to three independent reviewer’s approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript. After publishing, articles are freely available online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide.
