Prof.dr.sc. Bernard Jankovic graduated on 14th May1996 at the School of Dentistry, University of Zagreb, from 3rd May1997. He worked in the Department of Endodontics and Restorative Dental Medicine. Master's thesis defended in 2000 and Doctoral dissertation in 2004. That same year, he becomes a specialist of the Dental Pathology and Endodontics. In 2013 he becomes an associate professor at the Department of Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry, School of Dentistry, University of Zagreb.

By 2007 he was an associate in the project 0065007- Materials in the supply of dental hard tissues, and from 2007 an associate in the project 065-0352851-0410"Nanostructure restorative materials and interaction with dental hard tissues" -principal investigator: Professor Zrinka Tarle.

Actively participates in numerous scientific and professional conferences in the country and abroad. He is course leader of the postgraduate courses "Minimally invasive dental medicine" and "Evaluation of the success of preventive and minimally invasive procedures in the treatment of hard dental tissues".

In the school year 2009/2010 he was head of the Department of Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry, at the School of Dentistry, University of Split.

He is the head of the Preclinical Restorative Dentistry course at the School of Dentistry, University of Zagreb.

Since 2018, he has been the head of the Departmentof Endodontics at the School of Dentistry at the Medical Faculty in Mostar.

He is the head of the Reference Center for Restorative Dentistry at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia.

Since 2009 he has been Opinion Leader for Dentsply Sirona for restorative materials and endodontics.

He is the author and co-author of 20 reviews and professional papers and 4 chapters in the book.
